In the wake of GDC, the information flow has slowed to a trickle. You can't blame publishers and hardware makers for remaining mum--they're all gearing up their big announcements for E3. And can you believe that's hardly more than a month away? Now I'm scaring myself. Let's see what has been happening lately.

If you've had your fill of last year's Gran Turismo 4 and you're ready for the next big thing from Sony's star racemakers at Polphony Digital, it's here. But is it that big? The game is Tourist Trophy, the famous studio's first stab at motorcycle racing, and we've got the final word now that it's hit shelves in North America. The game is easily described as GT on two wheels, what with its almost slavish devotion to recreating the experience of customizing and racing bikes. If you've burned out on Gran Turismo, you won't find anything radically different going on here--but if you just wanna hop on a crotch-rocket and tear around the track, they've definitely got you covered. Hit up that full review to get the whole story.

Next up: You must have known THQ's wrestling property would be moving to the next-gen systems. But notice I said property there, not properties. In the past, THQ's given each console its own unique wrestling game--SmackDown on PS2, Day of Reckoning on the GameCube, and so on. For now, though, it looks like the company is going to focus its next-gen wrestling efforts solely on SmackDown! vs. Raw, which you have to imagine has been the most successful one anyway. We just got our first look at the 2007 edition of this long-running franchise, which will be appearing on the 360 and PS3. Head over to the preview and read up for all the details on what's new.

Finally, here's a name you may have heard: Starcraft. Ring a bell? Specifically, I'm talking about Starcraft: Ghost, and how Blizzard has finally confirmed what must have been a year's worth of speculation that the game will not in fact come out on current consoles like the PS2 and Xbox. But does that mean it'll hit the PlayStation 3 instead at some indeterminate date in the future? Not necessarily. Blizzard is currently reevaluating its next-gen console strategy, according to them, and they haven't committed to bringing Ghost out on anything for the time being. But you have to imagine they won't just scrap all that work they did. We've been waiting eight years for a new Starcraft game...I guess we can wait a little bit longer.
