Can I babble anymore about the PSP's ascendance this year? Probably not, but hey, shut up! Good games bear discussion ad nauseam. Capcom had a pile of hot new titles to show at its Las Vegas press event last week, chief among them (to my mind) being a 3D-graphics-2D-gameplay version of Ghosts & Goblins for the Sony handheld. Also heating up the PSP were Mega Man, Viewtiful Joe, Super Puzzle Fighter, Power Stone, and even Monster Hunter. Is Capcom even making PS2 games anymore? Well, don't forget about Okami--we've got that covered too. Check out our hub page to see everything that went down with Capcom in Sin City.

After Gran Turismo 4's massive delays and aborted online multiplayer mode, it's not hard to imagine some longtime fans left with a slightly bitter taste in their mouths. So how is Polyphony Digital going to restore Gran Turismo's good name? Why, by changing that name to Tourist Trophy! Also, they're populating the game with motorcycles instead of cars, so I guess it really isn't Gran Turismo at all. But it's definitely still fast. Sports editor Brian Ekberg brings us impressions of Tourist Trophy's two-wheeled mayhem straight from California's Infineon Raceway. Will the game present action compelling enough to convert fans of Gran Turismo to motorcycle racing? Time will tell--and in the meantime, read the preview.

Lastly, the moment many of you have been waiting for lo the many months since E3 2004: the final verdict on Black, Criterion's explosive first-person shooter. So how did it turn out? How should I know? I'm writing this from the past! But make sure to check back after the stroke of midnight on Thursday to get the full rundown on a shooter we've been excited about for going on two years now. In case you haven't heard, Black is the FPS project from the guys who made Burnout, so you know they understand how to make things break and blow up nicely. Can they take that knowledge and make the leap from driving to shooting? Don't miss the review for the answer!
