We're only about two weeks away from the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo, so expect to see a lot of big news and previews breaking on GameSpot in the days to come. For starters, we've got the scoop on Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, which will be vying to become the next big multiplayer shooter of choice.

In a lot of ways, Quake Wars is sounding like the game a lot of us always wanted the Quake series to be. I'm talking about full-on science fiction warfare, with big guns blazing, massive vehicles blowing each other up, and more. This time around, we take a specific look at some of the vehicles you can expect to see, drive, and get run over by when Quake Wars ships later this year. Stay tuned, because we'll more than likely have a lot more information about this one come E3.

E3 may be looming on the horizon, but that doesn't mean there aren't any new releases to consider. To that end, we've got a full review of the expansion pack to Black & White 2, Battle of the Gods. Does this add-on take Black & White 2 in a meaningful new direction? Aren't rhetorical questions annoying? You'll have to read our full review to find out.

Speaking of expansion packs, Guild Wars Factions is out soon, though calling it an expansion pack would be like calling Guild Wars a massively multiplayer online role-playing game: not entirely accurate. Factions is the successor to last year's innovative and popular RPG, and our latest Q&A provides you with a few tantalizing new bits of information leading up to the game's release. Personally I can't wait to take a break from all the E3 planning and dive back into this one.
