Before I get into that, did you catch out TournamentTV finals last week for the Pedal to the Metal Challenge, featuring NASCAR SimRacing? In short, it was some mightily exciting stuff, and I venture to say you'd probably enjoy it even if you're not into NASCAR. Stay tuned for lots more tournaments in the weeks and months to come.

Also stay tuned for lots more demo premieres. Our latest is the single-player demo for UberSoldier, an upcoming first-person shooter that casts you as a vengeful undead soldier who's decided to turn the tables on the Nazis during World War II. It's a neat spin on the well-worn WWII shooter premise, and now you'll be able to play the game for yourself an see if the action lives up to the plot.

Next up, we recently got to play a nearly-complete version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, probably the most highly anticipated computer role-playing game since Morrowind before it. Like its predecessor, Oblivion aims to offer a huge, visually stunning, highly interactive world that you can explore at your own pace and however you please. And if you're into RPGs, that's pretty much exactly the type of thing you want out of every game. I've got my fingers crossed for Oblivion, and judging by our recent report, sounds like it's shaping up quite nicely. It's slated to come out sometime this spring.

Finally, for something a little less cerebral, you need to check out the latest screenshots we posted for Unreal Tournament 2007. I really appreciate that the designers of the Unreal games have apparently taken the name of the series to heart when trying to raise the bar for each new installment's graphics, and sure enough, this next game looks completely crazy. Hopefully it'll move and animate somewhere near as nice as it looks in these stills. Time will tell, but for now, feast your eyes on those shots and start worrying about upgrading your PC like I have been. Misery loves company, my friend!
