The release season's winding down but we've got plenty left to tell you about this year. For starters, we just got a brand-new look at Star Wars: Empire at War, one of the most promising real-time strategy games now in development. The game drew a big crowd at our G.A.M.E. event this weekend, and rightfully so since it combines both terrestrial and space-based Star Wars combat. Check out our latest preview for the details.

We've also got a review up of one of this season's quirkiest games, Stubbs the Zombie. Developed using the Halo engine, Stubbs is about as different from a sci-fi themed first-person shooter as you can imagine. It's got a great soundtrack and plenty of mean-spirited humor, not to mention some unique and entertaining play mechanics. But does the game live up to its fullest potential? Maybe not quite, judging by our full review.

Also stay tuned for some late-breaking reviews of games like Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones ( which turned out great on consoles, so here's hoping for the PC version), Diplomacy, and Heroes of the Pacific. And don't forget, when you're trying to decide where to place your hard-earned bucks this holiday season, our gift guide is there to make sure you don't get steered wrong. There's a lot of good stuff out there this season, but there's plenty of noise too, so choose wisely and have a good
holiday!
