Before I get to that, let me tell you we've got a review up of the Battlefield 2 expansion pack, released just a scant few months after the original rocked our worlds. Battlefield 2 is still one of our favorite shooters this year, and in a lot of ways, the Special Forces expansion makes it even better. But we've got a few caveats to go with our recommendation, and you're just a tiny click away from finding out what those are.
Alternatively, if you're not into paying for your first-person shooter action, you could always just download the new Quake 4 demo. Quake 4's been out for a little while, and we really liked the single-player campaign in particular, which you can sample for yourself in this demo. There's a multiplayer component as well, which throws back to the days of Quake III Arena. This is one of the bigger demos to come around in some time, so consider it a good use of your bandwidth.
And then there's G.A.M.E., which starts this Friday, December 2 on through Sunday, December 4. It's basically a big extravaganza featuring musical acts, exciting diversions from Taiko drumming to low-rider hopping, and, of course, a whole bunch of fantastic games. The rest of the GameSpot crew and
